Tanner Kent was nice enough to interview me about my writing journey for the August 3 edition of The Mankato Free Press. The esteemed John Cross took the photo.
And to think that Tanner was once my student at Minnesota State University, Mankato! I’ve taught him well, lol! Seriously, he did a great job. He found those little details on his own to create a well-rounded story.
Hi Rachael,
Congratulations on your book. I look forward to reading it. DId you take writing classes at Hamline?
Judy
Thanks, Judy! I did not take classes at Hamline–did you? I did work with Barrie Jean Borich through The Loft.
I look forward to reading your blog posts. I love Duluth and try to get up there as often as possible. I was there twice in the past three weeks! I have a good friend in Culver and a cousin in Two Harbors, so it’s nice to have places to stay!
Yes, I got my masters degree at Hamline. Be sure to post your book signings on your blog. I may see you in the Cities 🙂
Rachael, Congratulations, I so look forward to the read!
So funny, I thought of you last week, for no reason, just thinking I had not run into you lately–or any Hanel or Larson for that matter! Kicking myself that life has been so busy and it seems another Summer is about to slip by….then Kathy W. called me this morning–she of coarse gave me a quick run down of the families events and happenings. She mentioned you, and google I went….perhaps that is why I thought of you last week–your exciting news.
I had a brief encounter last week with the publishing world, Country Gardens magazine spent 2 days in my garden photographing it. Sometime next year it is slated to be published.
Take care, hope to see you soon.
Stacey
Thanks, Stacey! I had no idea you had such a wonderful blog with beautiful photos! Now we can keep tabs on each other 🙂
Congratulations on the forthcoming Country Gardens publication! I’m sure you will be posting when it comes out!
