Mad Men Season 1, Episode 5: “5G”

Episode summary:

Don’s biological half-brother, Adam, sees Don’s picture in the newspaper and visits him. Don doesn’t want anything to do with Adam, who is a reminder of his former identity, which he’s trying to leave behind. Don has carefully built a new life and resents this intrusion. Adam can unravel the web of lies that Don has carefully crafted.

What lies do your characters tell? Why do they tell them? How far are they willing to go to keep the lies alive? And at what point do the lies catch up with them? Write a scene in which they are confronted with their deceit.
