“The view through Quinn’s window,” CBS Sunday morning. What a heartwarming story! This little boy can’t go outside, so the world comes to him. There’s nothing quite like seeing a look of pure joy on a child’s face. CBS Sunday Morning is easily the best show on television.

Speaking of joy…

The Book of Joy, by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, with Douglas Abrams. I read a few pages each morning and it nicely sets the tone for the entire day.

Classes start on Monday. I have the best job! My job allows me to do my two favorite things: write and teach writing. Summer was nice, but I’m ready to go back and I had a good time last week seeing colleagues again and getting my classes ready. I had a little too much fun putting together the syllabus for my design class — let’s just say stickers, rubber cement and markers were involved 🙂
