The theme this week: Bath, England.
Bath Abbey. I went to the Abbey a few times last year when I was first in Bath. But this year, I didn’t go in at all until today even though I’ve been here 10 days, and I almost didn’t even enter today. I thought I might find a gift or two in the gift shop, and as long as I was that far I figured I would enter the Abbey. It was 4 p.m. A cleric was at the pulpit, speaking. I thought I had burst in on a service. But the cleric was quite welcoming and invited people to sit for a couple of minutes while he offered simple prayers of thanks. I felt so warm and calm and at peace. I’m so glad I stopped in at just the right time to offer gratitude.
Rachiminov’s piano. I’m still a little in awe of Wednesday’s adventure.
My fisheye lens. For Christmas I received lens attachments for my iPhone. I’ve had so much playing with the wide-angle and fisheye lenses. Today I took a few pictures with the fisheye that I was really pleased with. Maybe I need a fisheye lens for my Canon?
