Thanks to my virtual friend (though I’m pretty sure she exists in the flesh) Linda K. Sienkiewicz for letting me post some info on her blog.
It’s pretty short and simple: What I write, how I write, why I write.

I love the lead in sentence to this post. Go with what you know, Rachael. Rainbows and butterflies can be admired elsewhere!
Yeah, someone else can write about them!
I am reading your book “Memoirs of a Grave Digger’s Daughter” for my Minneapolis Book Club meeting on October 18th. I cannot express, enough, how much I am enjoying your writing! I moved to Minneapolis 8 years ago, from South Carolina; your descriptions of small-town life have taken me back to my childhood. I am so grateful to have discovered your book. We were looking for a “Halloweeny-type” book for the month and the title made it a great choice… the actual content has been a wonderful surprise! I cannot wait to hear our group discussion.Thank you!
Thanks so much, Elizabeth! I also just found your message to me on FB 🙂
Loved your recent guest post, Rachael!
